The idea of Wayne Rooney having the patience, social skills and reasoning ability to play eve is very amusing. |

There's no grime or limescale on your ships eh? I'd tried everything to get rid of those pesky scorch marks on my hull and had almost given up hope until I found Cillit Bang! |

Citation needed. Also, who cares? There's nothing special about those people that makes them any more worth mentioning as being participants in EVE except for the roles they play in fictional movies. Where EVE is concerned, Mittens and Chribba are far more worth reading about, and I still can't think of one reason to care about them unless they've done something or been a part of something cool. There are certain celebrities, that if I knew for a fact played EVE and where, I would do everything to infiltrate that corporation. EVERYTHING. I have no idea what I would do when I got there. But that wouldn't matter because celebrities. Stealth Edit: Okay, not everything. There are lines I wouldn't actually cross. We don't touch those lines, or bad things happen. I can't stand celebrity hype. Bad things happen to people when said people bring up celebrities IRL. How many celebrities out there are actually worthy of their fame? What is it that they've actually accomplished, and who's to say that given the same opportunities they had, no one else could possibly fill the same shoes? That's easy. Any of them with real talent.
I like to look at someone famous and be in awe of the particular thing they can do that I cannot.
I watched in awe during the Ryder Cup as those guys hit golf shots continuously that I can only dream of doing once by fluke. I watch in awe of Patrick Stewart's incredible delivery on stage and screen. I watched in awe as Mo Farah ran to victory in both the 10,000 and 5,000m at the Olympics
But there's a whole heap of so called celebrities who are apparently famous for just having appeared on TV at some point for whatever reason. We all know who they are and I tend to avoid most modern TV because of it, prefering to watch DVDs, Blu Rays and online streaming services. |

Yes, yes they should.
But being serious, I suppose that in my head I have two catagories of famous people that I define thusly:
1) Those who got really good at something and then became famous for it. 2) Those who became famous and then went on to do something.
Those in catagory 1 I respect and would be privilaged to meet. Those in catagory 2 can bugger off. |
